L Band Triplexer Study The
object of the study was to determine if putting three very close RF signals
together would force unreasonable circuit design complexity on commercial GPS
receiver manufacturers. The
study consisted of reviewing low loss techniques capable of de-multiplexing
the three L band signals being supplied from a single antenna element in an
environment where large interference signals were present. Other technical issues included bandwidth
specification limitations, antenna element feed options and group delay distortion
on the individual signals. The study concluded the frequency choices were reasonable and practical. |
