ISM Band Modulator EOL Replacement This project resulted in designing a modulator IC replacement, after the IC became obsolete. A daughter board was designed using RFIC's and RF functional blocks to provide the same functionality as the original part. The daughter board was placed on the existing modem circuit board without having to redesign the existing board. This was beneficial for the client to fulfill existing sales commitments in a time and cost effective manner. |
